Wewurukannala Vihara
This temple has three parts, the oldest being about 250 years old; however this is of no particular interest.

Yala National Park or Udawalawa National Park (as you wish)
The Yala National Park is approximately 1,259 in extent and is the largest national park in Sri Lanka. The park is the home for wild elephants, wild boars, wild buffaloes, leopards, bears, deer and crocodiles. Large flocks of migratory and indigenous birds are also found here.
Udawalawa National Park is a major eco tourism destination in Sri Lanka. It is most famous for the many elephants that live there (about 400 in total). During a visit, it is not unusual to see whole herds of adults and young elephants– feeding or bathing and playing in the water!

This site with an ancient monastery is found on the flat rock at Diggala in the district of Kandy. According to a inscription there this temple was built by King Buwanekabahu IV in the year 1344.

Ambekke Devalaya
EmbekkaDevalaya (Embekka Temple) was built by the King Vikramabahu iii of Gampola Era (AD 1357 - 1374) in Sri Lanka. A local deity called Devatha Bandara is also worshiped at this site.

Lankathilaka Viharaya
The temple is full of exquisite painted scenes of the lives of 24 former Buddhas and there is a colossal seated image of the Buddha.
